I think Floyd and Hopkins are ATG, but some of the **** they have done is very overrated. Floyd's greatness is very overrated. You can't be the best ever by cherry picking.
i think yours is worse bro, but ill admitt it doesnt mean anything. this is the ****ing internet, ppl type fast. spelling doesnt matter as long as the point gets across. i know how to spell, just like i know u start a senetcne with capital letters, dont give f.uck.

as for the boxing.. i know lots of ppl say he did, but i dont think floyd cherry picked his oponents. acctually i know he didnt. he fought the fights ppl demanded at the time the fights happened. only thing u can make a case for is fighting hatton over cotto, but cotto was quiet meanwhile hatton ran his mouth. that made the diffrence.

wait, i just read best ever. nobody thinks that except his most ******ed fans, i dont even think he thinks hes the best ever himself. when we are talking overrated we are talking general opinion. all fighters are overrated by their own fans. or all fighters have their share of ******ed fans i should say.

The question was....What ATG Fighters do you feel get Overrated. I simply gave my opinion on it.

Ok maybe I sounded like I judged Floyd's whole career, but I still think anything outside of 135 apart from Oscar was ok. If he would of had an ATG type of resume, I guarantee you he would of lost by now.

Marciano is one of the most overrated fighters ever. IMO he gets destroyed by a lot of HW's.

Pryor(if he's considered an ATG), Marciano,

I don't know if he's overrated but Foreman's resume isn't all that hot either...

a couple of these guys mentioned may not have been or ever will be atg but it makes me sick how little respect great fighters get from some of the people on this site, hagler, leonard, joe louis for crying out loud. In my opinion most of these posters drasticaly overrate their own boxing knowledge. SMFers...............Rockin'

I don't think Pryor was overated. He just couldn't get the fights he really wanted. Something that hurt him was when Bramble beat Mancini. If he could have got Mancini that would have been a great win for him. Fighters like Camacho, Hugan, and Ramiraz didn't want none.

I will never say SRL ducked him. But that would had been a great fight.

I do think Marciano was overated a bit. But he was in a bad era, which isn't his fault. But I wish a fight with Sonny Liston or Floyd Patterson would have happened. They may have been way younger, but I'm not sure.
