Pacquiao at 130 was damn WW (Fight Night), the so called "Little Man" was actaully the bigger guy, outweighing most of his opponents. All of a sudden, he doesn't want to be the smaller guy. Just saying, I'm happy people are finally realizing this.

All I'm saying is, if Pacquiao is so called "Greater then Mayweather", fight bigger men, Mayweather has been outweighed by 10-20 lbs, I'm sure the greater Pacquiao should be able to deal with that eh?

Floyd at the very very least never asked a fighter to cut weight for him and is even giving up some pounds to JMM. Very hard to do when you've been out of the loop for 2 years.
Agree. I like Pac but if its for the belt then fight at the weight like he did for Oscar. He has fought at the weight before so I don't get why he wouldn't agree to it this time for the title. If he doesn't care about the belt then whatever mae it a non title catch weight attraction.

                my thoughts are this.

if you pacman wants to fight for the WW title then do it at 147. come in at the weigh in at 147 (or under obviously it is your choice to do so remind you) and fight for the title.

Dont try to get a bargin and ask cotto to make 143 (as pacman and company had originally requested) when you know darn well that cotto moved UP from 140 because he was complaining of being weight drained for his last few fights at 140.

so if he gets weight drained trying to make 140 then does anyone honestly think a whole 3 extra pounds will prevent him from being weight drained?

                really now?

pacman doesnt have to fight cotto. he can fight mosley or mayweather is he wishes or he can stay at 140 and fight whoever he wishes there.

im so tired of all the complaining about this fight around here and in the general boxing world.

Yes pacman is the top p4p fighter in the sport and cotto (at least in my eyes) is the best WW in the sport (even though mosley is ranked higher the loss to cotto doesnt make sense to me as to why he'd be ranked higher than him) and if they are going to fight at WW then allow cotto to come in at the limit of WW which is 147.

Floyd came in light againt oscar and stayed low during unoffical weighins the day of the fight and did he have problems with oscar? did it impair his ability to fight? no. so i dont see this being any different. Cotto needs the extra lbs and if pacman is as good as his ranking says (as was mayweather) then those extra lbs he's giving away to cotto shouldnt affect him as much as it would affect cotto to lose that weight.

                right?

First it was 152-155 for Cotto, now its 153-157. And where did Mosley and Maracheato weigh 170 during fight night.
