                This'd be fair for both fighters, fighting at an actual weight limit. If you dont want Cotto to weigh in the Day BEFORE at 143, then he cant weigh over 147 in the actual ring. I'm sure Manny would be all good with this, as the most he's ever weighed in a fight was 148-149. There's no catchweight in this.

                      they stopped same day weigh ins a while ago for safety reasons. They knew that fighters were drying out to make weight and figured it would be safer to give them time to replenish their bodies. Ibelieve the mancini/kim bout may have had something to do with the change.

                      Its a great idea for safety but the fighters are just taking ultimate advantage of it and coming in 10-15lbs heavier than they should be the next day..............Rockin'
