I dont know whats been happening this past month or so cuz i havent been on here. I've never been one to not man up if im wrong or lost and this sure as hell wouldnt be any different. Let me give you a run down of what happen to me after the Cotto-Clottey bout....
Saturday June 13th around midnight:
- Clottey drops a decision lose to Cotto
- I log on making a thread talking about how the decision was BS.. regardless i've lost the bet. I say no big deal.. i'll log on tomorrow and hit em with the points
Sunday June 14th:
- Walking back into work to clock in i get a phone call. Its Jarret, a grown man... crying, hysterical, screaming "Bernard got shot man!!"
"WHAT!??! Bernard who?? (because it surely couldnt be my Bernard, not the ***** i came up with, not Bernard who's never done NOTHING to ANYONE, not Bernard whos shy around new people, not the one i was just eating pizza with laughing at the table with 2 days ago.. not him)
"Nardi man!!!!!" he replys......................... my heart sinks, i'm barely able to find out from J wheres he at, what was he doing? who was with him?
I rush to OSU medical center to find my ***** in critical condition at OSU medical center. 18 years old, shot in the back of the head with a .40 cal
His heads the size of a basketball, the only thing keeping him breathing is life support. After 2 days of long nights at the hospital, finding out how this happened? where was he at? who was he with? who did it? why? He dies tuesday morning. Bernard Allen Hawkins, 18 years old, never did anything to anyone. Just left a 2 year olds birthday party and was at Mock park celebrating another friends graduation. Some fools pulled up, aiming for someone else and missed, Bernard ran and got hit in the back of his head. Wrong place wrong time right?
The last few weeks have been one of the hardest things for me to deal with, to lose someone so close to you for no reason. I mean NO REASON AT ALL, i've been devastated, everyone has.
Then i log in today to find out i've been red k'd. Probably been getting thrashed all around the boards as a bitch who doesnt pay his bets right????
Sorry if paying you meaningless points so you can bold your username hasnt been my top priority.
