Look at Oscar in that fight. He could not move, throw a punch and pacman was begging oscar to throw a punch. Cotto wants 147 and pacman wants 143....meet at the halfway...145. Yes pacman? yes cotto?

Since he took a knee, Cotto is not even considered as one of the greatest. Hope he can prove me wrong by taking Pacquiao at 143 lbs. Just an opinion...

Cotto even at 140 is the bigger guy
I think you're being a bit ignorant. Cutting weight is a process in itself on top of actually training for a fight (skillwise).

If Pacquiao's team see Cotto as a fight Pacquiao can win, why not put him to the test against the best Miguel Cotto you can possibly have, which is him making the same weight he's made the last several years.

Besides, isn't the WW range 141-147? Wouldn't it still be a WW fight is Cotto weighs in at 146 and Pacquiao at 142?

I agree if manny really wants to cement his legacy, he should fight the best @ their best. Just think if manny beat the top ww's on their playing field, It would be Icing on the cake.
