Here is the thing, Manny has the choice to try and make it an even fight, because everyone and their mom wants to fight Manny, because of this he becomes more and more cautious and will eventually end up like Mayweather and begin only taking on easy fights.

Marquez in the other hand, has no say in it, because he isn't as "popular" as Manny and because of this puts Marquez in many lose-lose situations, but he at least is willing to face ANYONE to prove he is the best...little by little the same won't be able to be said about Manny if he keeps this up.

Cotto should challenge Pacquiao's lineal belt at 140 so he can get full recognition. Beating Pac at 145 or 147 won't get him credit.

The thing is, Manny need Cotto as much as Cotto needs him.

Against Mosley, sure is a more winnable fight, because of Mosleys willingness to weight drain his ass for a couple of $$$$, but they wont make half the sells that Cotto vs Pacquiao would do.
