“Fighting Words” – Darchinyan: The Humbling of The Bull

by David P. Greisman - Talk is cheap – except for when someone makes you put your money where your mouth is.

Vic Darchinyan was never at a loss for words. And he had only lost once – aside from one draw, 32 times he’d backed those words up with his fists.

Joseph Agbeko wasn’t impressed. He looked at the “Raging Bull” and saw a bully. [details]

I dont like vic but I hope he doesn't move down. If he moved down it would prove that higher classes are too much for him. It's not a smart business move.

Talk is cheap but he is certainly entertaining. Still hoping for a Donaire rematch but this has soured a little as Agbeko stole the thunder from this potential rematch. Or maybe, this would be possible as Shaw might be looking for someone to rejuvenate the career of Vic. After all, he is already 32. Donaire would make perfect sense.
... but Donaire will probably have less of a desire to fight Vic again due to this loss.

I was there at the fight and have to say I thought it was a close fight. The press row scoring had Vic up big in that fight and I was like WTF??

The undercard of Demarco was BS though, that dude wanted a quick way out and tryed to get it by laying on the floor.

Had great seats, very close to the ring. They had this Michael Jackson tribut with these little kids that were dancing that was great....

I doubt Vic will want that fight. He wasn't seemed to want it so far.

Aging Bully Duckchinyan should move away from Shaw in order for him to get a rematch from Nonito Donaire........that is if he have the balls to get KOed again!!!
