ok the "hopkins fought welterweights" blah blah

is getting old. he dominated everyone in the midleweight division for years and years against legitmate middleweights and then he fought trinidad who was the favorite to beat hopkins and he had already established himself as a legitimate middleweight. and hopkins wrecked him. then he fights a few mandatories and people start bitching that hes fighting nobodies so he takes on de la hoya and beats him. and also when he fought de la hoya he fought at a catchweight with him (i believe it was 155 lbs) so oscar was at a more comfortable weight anyway.

so then he takes on jermain taylor and has two very close fights with him (i think taylor edged the first fight and won, but i think b-hop won the second fight). goes up to light heavy and dominates and outboxes and comes close to stopping antonio tarver who was coming off two wins over rjj and a win over glen johnson. then b-hop takes on winky wright (who had established himself as a legitimate middleweight when fighting to a draw with jermain taylor) at a catchweight of 170 lbs and beats winky.

he fights joe calzaghe in a close fight. then he takes on the middleweight champion kelly pavlik at 170 (if you look at pavliks record he has fought a 170 a few times and has fought above 160 numerous times) and he absolutely wrecks him. mind you alot of the fights i have mentioned as you all know he was over the age of 40.

so seriously you really have nothing to criticize the guy about unless you flat out dont like the guy. and before any of you bring up that hes a racist. take a look at my sig. that kid hes with in that picture is white of course and was his no. 1 fan and had cancer and hopkins let him drive his bentley, spent hours with the kid and he was a pall bearer at the kids funeral and bernard buried him with the gloves and handwraps that he wore when he beat pavlik.

Bhop owns. He beat every ranked MW contender put in front of him. Problem is none of those guys were big names. Not his fault.

Can't blame BHOP here. Cleaned out MW. Had big money fights with Tito/Oscar which nobody would turn down nor blame him for as they got him mainstream. Fought Taylor tough for 24 rounds. Beat up Tarver. Beat up Pavlik. Beat Wink (though i had that a draw). Fought Calzaghe. Aside from the loss to RJ the man has been incredible. His longevity is icing on the cake.

Bernard Hopkins, as of now, deserves more ATG status than Floyd, simply because he's beaten great top notch competition.

              It's as simple as 2 + 2.

he fought 2 welter's, 2, and about 44 MW lol,
                  and the rest at LHW.
