Tyson could, but that doesn't mean he would, if they fought 10 times prime for prime Lennox would still win 7-3 or there abouts. As ferocious as Tyson was, Lewis had a good chin and isn't easy to have your way with.

Prime Ali is such a difficult one because you really are talking different era's. Ali often did particularly best against guys much less varied than Lewis. He didn't face someone with the sheer height, size, boxing skills, jab, KO power, AND stamina of a prime Lewis. So I'd have to favour Lewis here aswell, perhaps 6-4 if they fought 10 times.

As I say, different time periods though. Whilst it does feel odd saying this, it shouldn't so much and I believe it does even more so to some people because of the sheer huge names, weight, and prestige Ali and Tyson have. They are in so many peoples eyes, untouchable. Whom has the least losses of the 3 though? Whom avenged the few they even had? All considered Lewis could be beaten by these guys, but he has better all round attributes that would lead to him having the edge.

That just shows your ignorance as well since the same thing you accuse Americans of, you are doing.

I'm American and have been to Europe and I liked it. I was also welcomed quite comfortably by the people I've met and hung out with...although they didn't think I was American and were surprised that I said I was from America when asked in conversation(s). But, nonetheless, I'm an American that not only got along with Europeans but was welcomed to hang out.

In addition, last time I checked, many Europeans have become popular in the States. Take the entertainment field as an example: The Beatles for starters.

Oh, and one of my favorite fighters when he was active was Kostya Tszyu. Not an American.

please, The Beatles was barely even know in America, we in the rest of the world admire the beatles because they where great muscisians but you americans barely even notice them.

ok you dont have a problem with europe i get it. BUT 90% of your fellow americans do. its a tragedy that such great fighter like Lennox Lewis will NEVER get the respect he deserves. imo europeans shoudl stop going to america to fight your fighters i mean its a no win situation. if they win they get no respect and if they lose they get hated on and ridiculed. For you Americans a world champ only counts as a world champ if they are American ridicilous

I figured your leanings were towards playing the Anti-American poster for fun because you can't be that ignorant towards what was going on in America with the popularity The Beatles had.
Not only them but many bands that came from England as well as other entertainers/performers/artists.

There's an ignorance some Americans have just like the rest of the World seems to have with each other (including Americans). Lots of Love/Hate going on.

In America, I had this ignorance told to me before I went to France and people said I wouldn't like the French. But when I went, the French were very nice to me and it's one of my favorite places to visit. And not sure of all the women since I wasn't with all, but at least "some" French women do take baths and shave.
          Just one example.

go ask a random guy on the street today if he would know who the beatles was and most likely he wouldn't have a clue. yeah maybe they where popular over there for a short while but i bet bands like idk nickelback or some other mediocre band is more popular than the beatles over there because they are american. im not "playing" or joking with this, why would i? im just sick and tired of you americans xeno phobic and ultra nationalistic ways. you guys are ****ing ridicilous. you never give respect to european fighters and not even to normal european people. ok i might exagerate sometimes but i still stick with my basic oppinion. Americans HATE europeans and will NEVER give respect to european fighters.

The Beatles were popular for about two decades and then you have the band members that went on their own and had popularity here in the States.

If they know the time period, American band or not, then they will know them. If they are really into music, they will know The Beatles. I know The Beatles because I grew up with them through my Parents and many of my friends were the same. Now, for the teen-generation I'm not so sure but then again, my Sister was a teen not to long ago and she has many of their songs on her I-Pod as well as many others from that generation and even prior, so....

Some of the people on the street may not know anything before their time period but it has nothing to do with them being American or not. The person on the street may not even know what is going on in their time period…..

Take boxing for instance. Most common fans don't know the majority of the fighters listed in the history forum and many of those fighters are Americans. It's up to the people to go out and search.

There is a big list of non-Americans that have made it here in the past as well as have popularity currently.

Should we go through the list?

              here is a start:

Are you serious? 90% of America knows who the Beatles are, not to mention Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Radiohead, Queen, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, U2, basically the entire 60's, 70's, and 80's rock scene had immensely popular European bands that are still very popular to this day. Paul McCartney is still incredibly popular to this day. You are either completely blind to what 90% of America is really like, or you are just trying to get a response. Some posters on a boxing forum don't give as much respect to fighters like Lennox Lewis and Joe Calzaghe as you do, and that means America hates Europe? You've been watching too much Borat.

Lennox Lewis would get outboxed silly by Sam peter. He's too fast and too skilled to lose to the bum Lewis. It would be Baldomir vs Mayweather II.

                  End of thread.
