It weird that someone still loves her man even after taking alot of beating from them.
I dont condone murder, and I am not saying what Gatti's wife did was right, BUT...

There's a big difference between pushing someone to the ground and beating them.
Some of the mental midgets on this forum should try and grasp that...including the thread starter.
One of the above deserves retribution with extreme prejudice...the other doesn't.Comment

why say **** like this on a boxing website?
bring it up in your women's studies class because sports fans don't want to hear itComment

True, but it's not that easy. A lot of women stay because they really have no self esteem left and start to think it's their fault everytime they get beat up, and come up with excuses to defend her man like "OH I made him angry", He was drunk", I shouldn't have done this and that and blablablabla"....but he's actually a really nice man. If it was easy to get out of abusive relationships then every woman who's been beat up would leave in a second but it's a lot more complicated than that.Comment

I think that if that IS the way it went down, then it DOES justify murder. He's a professional 'hitter', hitting a woman around.
Isn't he risking her life? Throwing her to the street. A strong man is doing that.
If you feel threatened and you reach a certain point. **** it. He's made his call, you make yours.Comment

If Gatti did beat her up, like it was reported on BS a while back, and if he did argue with her and throw her down to the street in public, and cause injuries to her arm and chin, i can damn near promise you, that this was not the second time this thing has happened. On top of that he got a taxi ride home and left her to walk, that is some ******* **** to do....
My dad used to whoop the **** out of my mom..... This isnt just something that happens once and that is it.... This is a constant and chronic problem that people have.... My mom flipped just like Gatti's wife, and broke my dad's ribs....
And sometimes, as in this case, she couldnt take anymore.... People have a limit... Seems like there were some skeletons in the closet.....
Its like a kid in school that gets picked on by a bully constantly.... Finally, they have enough... Thats what I think happened here....
Again, I am not saying this was right, and I dont wish death on anybody.... But I think that Gatti's wife had reached her limit and couldnt take it anymore... Was it right to kill Arturo?? HELL NO... But once someone gets pushed to the limit time after time, they finally go over the edge...
As for you my man normally you make good arguments but this 1 sucks. Who are you to judge the man when he is dead. Let Gatti rest in peace and keep the negativity or assumptions out your mouth. To me he was a class guy in and out the ring.Comment

Domestic Violence is wrong. Gatti deserved better than this B*tch that killed him. I will remember him for being a warrior in the ring. A fighter that had enough balls to give it his all even though he ended up on his Ass in some fights. The only true victim is there 1 year old child. If B*tch didn't like the way Gatti was treating her she should do what most people do in a bad relationship....Walk Away. But NO this **** couldn't.
