There's no excuse now though, as women have their own money and are not trapped like they used to be because they can't afford to go it alone. If women continue to take abuse when they have other options, then you have to say that they're acting incredibly ******ly. I'm by no means condoning abuse either, but most women now have financial independance, so don't need to stay after the first or second time they're abused.
