you have to be a ***** at heart to be a decent fighter like butler was ,your fists being weapons in themselves, and use a hammer to take someone out like that.

maybe sam came at him though ,you never know. sam could have grabbed a knife or something "Get the **** outa my place Butler!" and butler grab the hammer in self defense. you just never know
