Williams should have never given up his WBO Belt, imo. But honestly I think the fight that Williams needs try to pursue is a Pavlik fight in Alantic City or MSG. We know Kelly is a big draw in America and a fight with him would but him way up there, if he wins. He can also collect belts at 154 and bulid his legacy there.

But I dont blame Shane for not wanting a fight with Williams. Shane has been taking on the best his entire career. He never got Johnston, Tito, Ike, or Tszyu to add to legacy. But he has fought great comp. I say let the young fighters fight Williams like Cotto, Clottey, Floyd, and Berto (that wont happen)

Do yall even beleive he can make 147 anymore? I'm also suprised that when Mosley said he didnt want the Pac fight anymore, Williams team hasnt responded so quick yet.

exactly the point. he shouldve stay at ww with the wbo belt then he would have a reason to get a mosley fight. he screwed himself.

well williams can't even seat 5k people at MGM, that's probably why nobody wants to fight him. he has a big chance of beating you and dont bring no money.

that's just the way it is.

I'll bet you Mosley will get paid a lot less against Berto. Williams is a fight that offers $3 million for Mosley at the moment. So that means Mosley will probably get $3.5 million out of that fight. Berto got that title handed to him in Cotto fashion against a bum ass mofo. I think Lopez would beat Caballero, but it still looks bad that he's not fighting him. And you made a post like this similar to the other one in the thread that LA Bad Boy started and I explained the unification situation to you. Mosley-Berto isn't for the Ring belt and Caballero-Lopez is. Williams-Mosley would be for the Ring belt because Ring has got a ranking reserved for Williams if he decides to return to 147. Most of the Ricans on here were tearing Berto apart when they thought he lost to Collazo. This fight does nothing for Mosley.

HBO didn't have the money to provide financial muscle to a Clottey-Williams fight and they flat out rejected a Jennings-Williams fight. You're suggesting that Williams should have done what Cotto did in fighting Jennings instead of beating Winky Wright? Williams had no choice but to move up because nobody had the balls to fight him. Get out of here with that you clown.

Once Paul started fighting at 154 it was over for him at welterweight. He is too big and too high volume a puncher to expect anyone in that division except for Clottey apparently to fight him.

$3 mill to fight that huge of a risk? I would want more to be truthful. If Shane loses to Williams he can kiss his chance at a big fight away pimp. I hear HBO wants the Berto fight with Mosley. I also think that HBO will be trying to make a Williams vs Pavlik fight, becasue Sturm looked like **** today. I know Arum doesnt want it, but the fans do. There are also no names at MW

Co sign and the winner can face the winner, of Cotto/Pacquiao vs Mayweather/Marquez

I wouldn't mind seeing a fight between Williams and Pavlik either. But Williams would either have to move up even further to 168 or drop back down in weight because Middleweight is **** right now. And I have a hard time envisioning Pavlik getting back on HBO unless Arum excepts a fight between Williams and Pavlik. I don't absolutely hate a Berto-Mosley fight. But I just don't think it is that meaningful of a fight if Williams is able to make the weight again.
