Fifth fight of the evening about to begin, this bout plus two more until Cunningham-Braithwaite.

    Results so far:

Francisco Palacios (18-0, 12KO) made quick work of Manu N’toh, dusting him off at at 2:59 of the opening round of their scheduled 10-round cruiserweight bout.

Cuban-born southpaw Angel Santana (6-0, 4KO) remains unbeaten after a hard-fought four-round decision win over Jaime Rodriguez (4-5-3, 2KO). Final scores of 40-36 across the board were accurate, but not truly indicative of the entertaining lightweight battle.

Lanard Lane (7-0, 5KO) pitches a four-round shutout (40-36 across the board) over Carlos Garcia (3-5-1, 3KO) in a spirited welterweight scrap.

Archie Ray Marquez (5-0, 5KO) stops Jayson Hayward (6-7-1, 2KO) at 1:56 of round four of their scheduled six-round super featherweight bout.

Puerto Rican super bantamweight prospect Victor “Vitiño” Fonseca (15-0, 8KO) boxed his way to a unanimous decision over former two-division titlist Mauricio Pastrana (35-11-2, 23KO). Scores were 80-71 (3x). Pastrana lost a point for low blows

Up next, Miki Rodriguez v. Ivan Kirpa in a welterweight eliminator. I'm off to the media room for dinner.

Russian welterweight Ivan Kirpa had his way with Miguel "Miki" Rodriguez, taking a 12-round decision by scores of 120-108, 119-109 and 118-110. Kirpa now becomes the mandatory challenger to the winner of the tentative rematch between Andre Berto and Luis Collazo.

          Cunningham-Braithwaite now up.

            Thanks Jake.

            Cunningham-Braithwaite. Great match up!

Brief round by round updates, as I'm also writing on deadline:

Round 1 - Cunningham controls round largely with his jab. Braithwaite offers a shoeshine at the end of the round, but Cunningham slips or picks off just about every shot.

Damn Miki Rodriguez, I remember him. He's the guy that Berto landed that brutal uppercut that made his long hair go flying.

round two - Cunningham still controlling with the jab. Braithwaite aggressive early, landing a few clean right hands, causing USS to clinch. Cunningham resumes control, lands right hand of his own.

I think that is incorrect. Aydin is the mandatory challenger to the winner(after his win of Bonsu today), the Kirpa fight I believe was not a final eliminator
