No matter the conflicts or bad blood between I think its safe to say that Gatti was respected as a fighter and no one can dispute his nick name,"Blood and Guts Warrior". I personally feel a deep loss. I love this sport for more than one reason. But one of the reasons is for fighters like Gatti, and Gatti himself. You,re already missed and you will forever live in the ring of memories. Thank You for all the great fights.
I couldn't put it better myself. He was always a happy go lucky guy after every loss as well.

      He will be missed.

I just sat and read through this entire thread. It is cool to see that this man had so many respected followers. A fan or not of Gatti it was his heart that people respected most of all. I hated to see him retire...but I understood. Him dieing....I cannot understand why so soon...Wish you peace ever after Gatti.
