BUT

the British and Danish press had it much closer at 115-113

WHILST the American press had it - 118-110

I can't remember how I scored it at the time but it was certainly alot closer than the official and the US card.

Had it 8-4 from the arena...the U.S. cards were almost all off TV.

115-113 calzage won.... it was closer than people think, kessler defintley through the best punches! just not enough of them... kesslers right uppercut in the middle rounds was glorious!!!!

i watched the fight again just the other day and it was closer than i intially thought. intially i assumed that joe took control and took more or less every round from the 5th onwards but that wasn't necessarily the case.

i think i had it 7-5

kess showed some fantastic skills and good shot selection but ultimately i think the lack of sparring, joes awkward stance and the volume of his work was too much for mikkel
