abraham will win this tournament or at the very least put on a good run at it.

      i'm done with this thread.

Come on Patrick starfish dont be a baby! I think it is a relavent point that Abraham has made a career as a champion and the best opposition he has faced was Miranda and Gevor. He has looked impressive at times and at togther times looked all together overly patient. Weight problems? proabably but if you look at guys in this tourney with experience it plays out like this:

      Kessler
      Taylor
      Froch
      Abraham
      Ward
      Andre part two

Abraham id defintely less experienced than the top 3 , dont think that is debatable

This has been Abraham's main problem. It was near starvation trying to meet the weight.

I think he has an issue with constant pressure and being forced to fight non stop. Pavlik and Froch kept forcing him to fight and he could not take the pressure.

Now if Abraham came in and did the same, I would predict an Abraham win. From what I have seen of him, he prefers to pace himself to an almost silly level and Taylor will love the breathing room.

sure its a problem but how much will it improve his performance? Weight problems dont make up for experience and skill. For example, Kessler has faced hihgh volume granite chinned opponents, the most awkward, speedy and dominant force at middle weight, the best of the best on the european circuit. Taylor has faced Hopkins twice, Winky, Pavlik twice, Froch, Spinks etc.

edison miranda is just as good as almost anyone froch and kessler beat.

who has taylor beaten that's so damn good? bernard hopkins? taylor was just a bad matchup for an OLD bernard hopkins.

abraham has power. a chin. tough. durable. he's also more skilled than most of you guys give him credit for. you guys don't like his style because he's stationary and not flashy. you guys might not like it but it's an effective and smart style for him.

abraham wins this tournament. even if he losses it'll be by a debatable decision.
