    Hozumi Hasegawa.

In Japan they call him 'an ace of the Japanese boxers'. He has defended the title 8 times. In 4 defense matches of 8, he defeated the WBC Ratings No.1 boxer in the Bantamweight division. Think that qualifies him as the best Japan has to offer.

Nishioka is good though. I think Hozumi is better however.

i wish they would fight outside of japan & stop trying to keep their belts in japanese hands by only fighting japanese fighters.

            Probably Hasegawa
Nishioka and Daisuke Naito are pretty good I wouldn't say they're terrific
I've heard good things about the super flyweight WBA regular champion Nobuo something

Nishioka went to MEXICO and KNOCKED out the guy, Hosu should do the same.

Hozumi Hasegawa. I'm starting to pay attention to Japanese boxing, it's just interesting to see different styles from fighters who AREN'T superstars.

why should they...they get paid hella good (more than they ever would in the US) and are highly praised by japanese fans. Why come he to take a pay cut and fight people who dont care about lower weight classes anyways.

Also I think there are some consequences to fighting outside Japan. I think something like the threat of getting stripped of there belts.
