ortiz is worst because he quit and he can never take that back. his comments afher the fight brought shame to the mexican people and his lack of heart.
Who lost worse, Amir Khan or Victor Ortiz???

He still quitted!!!!!!!!!! When the going got tough!!!!!!!!!! First time he was tested and he quitted. Not denying that he quit
But he fought a good opponent and had looked like he was on the verge of stopping his opponent at one point. Ortiz-Maidana was FOTY candidate.
Khan made a stellar ring entrance on PPV in a sell out arena only to get knocked out by an unknown fighter in 50 seconds.
At least with Ortiz people don't so much doubt his ability, after the Prescott loss everybody thought Khan was done.
Khan didnt even had time to think!!!!!!!Comment

Which is why Ortiz's loss is substantially bigger.
Khan fights on with the fact that one punch on his chin and it's over. Ortiz had no real impairments in terms of physical attributes. But decides to quit when it gets tough.
Getting KTFO is nothing new for prospects. But quitting, then giving a post fight interview like that...Comment

Khan showed heart Ortiz didn't. Khan said that he would e right back at the post fight interview, Ortiz said "He didn't deserve getting beat up like that" due to his age, and said he |didn't want to stutter when he got old". Khan lost with grace at least.Comment

Prescott was and is a 'good opponent' as well. Unknown or not, he was recognised as potentially dangerous - any undefeated fighter is - despite any post-fight revisionism. Khan's loss was embarrassing, but it's total bollocks to say "everybody thought Khan was done". Nobody did; it was a set-back and that's all. Nobody doubts his ability.. just his chin. Not denying that he quit

As to whose loss is 'worse', I would say Ortiz. He quit, for whatever reason, his opponents will remember that from now on, and his fights will be harder as a consequence. Like Khan, though, he is young enough to learn from the experience. Whether he can is, again like Khan, what he will finally be judged on.Comment
