I wouldn't say that, Williams even if he faces and beats Mosley does nothing for his career because no one will fight him at 147 simply because of his size. Its not his height that is a problem, its the length of his arms. He's not only taller but got longer arms than guys at this weight. So, even if he faces them its going to be looked at as him just beating up on smaller guys, which in weight may not be true but it certainly is to the eye and a guy beating up on guys 5-8 inches taller than it looks like a circus show not a boxing match. In order for Williams to become a name he has to face people at 160+ Pavlik, Dawson are options but if he fights Pavlik he MAY be able to get a shot at Hopkins at 167 if he's still around till then. That would make a great fight I must say, but probably won't happen. Still... there's Jermain Taylor that would be the fight I'd go for next over Pavlik or facing Froch. I mean its not like Williams doesn't have other options, he just wants the big money now because its not there in other divisions.
If Berto's trainer was to pass at this he'd be crazy if he was saving the fight for Williams. Berto can make the big money fighting the WW's and Williams can make good money fighting the people I mentioned. If he waits for Williams to get the fight he'll just lose a great shot for prospect who will actually get some other fights in the division.
