Cotto is in now way shot. The guy is 28 years old and is essentially in his prime. I really wish that the cut during the Clottey fight had never occured since it woud have allowed us to see exactly where Cotto's skills are at this stage against elite competition. However I did take away the fact that Cotto has a lot of heart left in him, that he can take solid WW shots, is stronger than previously thought, and that he is making an effort to box more in his matches.

cotto isn't shot. i think he just hasn't fully recovered from losing his 0. same goes to hatton. their confidence level aren't as high as they used to be and that why it seems that both of them are on the decline.

Maybe someone in "The Ring" which is owned by DLH wants Pac to fight Mosley instead so they make it seem like a win over Cotto is not that great since he's "shot". GBP tried everything else already to get Pac in the ring with Mosley anyways.
1. Mosley said he'd go down to 143.
2. Mosley would take the smaller cut
3. DLH said Top Rank's protecting Pac even though Pac fought 3 GBP fighters in his last 4 fights.
Nothing worked. What else could they do?

Sounds like a possibility. Still curious as to what's up with Pac's double standards as stated in original post.
