Leavander Johnson versus Chavez was pretty painful because it should've been stopped three to four rounds earlier than it was.

    RIP LEAVANDER.

it's weird how he walked fine afterwards but then collapsed later on.

Probably more accurate to say when everyone but the former great realises the don't have it anymore?

If that was a heavyweight fight, it would've been stopped in the 7th.

The problem was, Chavez punches hard but he's an accumulation puncher, and Johnson wasn't winning a second of that fight, but standing up (brave as **** but nothing in the tank).

That's the big danger in fights like that. I feel like they are way worse than the one punch ko's.

if it was a heavyweight fight , chavez would only throw 20 punches a round......

those are the scary fights. one guy is dominating , punches hard enough to hurt but not hard enough to finish it.

leavander was done the last few rounds. that's why his head would flop all over the place everytime he got hit. he didn't have enough energy to even put his hands up or brace himself for the punch.

it was weird how it happened though. he's fine after the fight , he even complained about the stoppage. he walks to his dressing room on his own power , no one thinks anything is wrong then he collapses in his dressing room. they thought he was gonna die , then a few days later they said he was getting better , so everybody thought he'd be okay and then he gets worse all of a sudden and they pull the plug on him.

sad thing is before the fight they were talking about how it was his biggest payday in his career. $150,000. he died for $150,000.

who was the guy who died on the u.s.s. intrepid , jreck? it was espn friday night fight i think. i know you'll know.
