                  you could push yourself harder, longer

                  i believe michael phelps' body produces low amounts of lactic acid

                      well, i know its necessary - i dont remember exactly why but its like a double edge sword. your body needs it for x or y reason but it induces muscle fatigue

                      lol, the "burning" sensation from working out is the acid literally burning your muscles
