    Jones Jr. vs. Harding

    I haven't seen this fight.

So... apparently Harding majorly ****ed his bicep up in the beginning stages of the fight, and the scores were still relatively close. What does this mean for this matchup?

What would have happened in a rematch if Harding was healthy? He was a really good boxer who seemed to give a lot of good fighters problems and beat two really good fighters by way of decision (meaning he got the best of them for the full 12 rounds), in Montell Griffin and Antonio Tarver.

Someone shed some light on this fight.

I know Eric personally!!!!......we grew up together and played on the same basketball teams when we were teens.........from the look in his eyes and face, I hate to say it......but Eric felt like he was over his head and being in the ring was too much for him at that time..........Eric boxed for checks and not the love!!!!......Real Talk!!!........he would have NEVER beaten Roy!!!......his heart was NEVER into this sport and to beat Roy required a certain amount of dedication to training and the mental aspect......Eric wasnt capable of neither!!!......still love him tho' (no ****).......thats my boy!!

I read in an article in The Ring that boxing basically saved Harding's life, as he was headed toward either prison or death with the life he was leading.

Harding was giving Jones some problems before he quit due to an injury. I never scored it myself and it was such a dull fight I never re-watched it. Jones claimed he wasn't fully prepared because he was spending too much time promoting and helping out Gainer (who won his first title in a real foulfest on the undercard against Freddie Norwood).

I've tried to erase this fight from my memory. It's quite possibly the most dull PPV main event I have ever seen.

Freddie Norwood seems like a real piece of ****... is that mother****er ever in a clean fight?

Still, as much **** that gets talked on Derrick Gainer, I am surprised that he was the one to finally give Norwood his first loss, because he had beaten some good fighters up to that point.

I'm glad you told me it was dull, I won't waste my time watching it.
