CBS needs to show the finals of the 168 Tournament!

I know I'm looking forward all the way till 2011, but CBS needs to show the finals, maybe even the semifinals if some Americans are in it. CBS owns Showtime so it wouldn't be too difficult. It would be HUGE for boxing.

They could even show all the match ups on a tape delay basis then the semi finals and finals Live. It would be great for the sport and the fighters, maybe Showtime can pull it off.

GREAT idea. Especially by airing the replays.

This would be a really good idea, even if the tape delay was latenite. If you put boxing back in the mainstream casual fans could maybe become more interested and the more interest you get the more you can sell and the more exposure the sport gets. This would be the most positive thing i've heard about boxing in a very long time.

That's what I was thinking, maybe the tape delays on Saturday night maybe 10pm showing 2 fights at a time 4 weeks out of the semi finals. Then for the Finals they can do a 1 hour pre-show showing all the highlights of the fights and how the finalist got there. If they put their brains to work they can make this a major success.

I think it is very possible. All of these fighters are pretty exciting.

Hell, even if they replay them at 2AM on a weekday it would get more viewers than the average ShoBox.
