I hate to say it, but after Taylor gets knocked out, he might see all of his hopes gone because I don't see him beating any top super middle outside of Ward and Green. On another note, we finally get to see Kessler fight some decent talent, took long enough.

You figured Showtime would have this marketed as much as possible, but they don't even mention anything about the tourny on their website. I don't get it.

The point is that it means you end up with no divisional clarity, which is a huge missed opportunity.

If it turns out that Bute was offered a place and declined it, that would be different, and I'd lose all respect for Bute if that were the case, and he'd deserve to lose his ranking; but unless Showtime make it clear on Monday that they did offer him a place, it's safe to say that they didn't.

If that were true, they'd certainly have Bute in it, so it seems that isn't their purpose at all, unfortunately. Kudos to them for making a large number of entertaining fights between some of the best fighters in the division, with an excellent round robin format - but without Bute, they can't claim it has anything to do with finding out who's the best Super Middleweight - which is a shame.

They're not officially announcing it until Monday. Didn't you read the article?

No way Bute turned that down. I'd fall off my chair.

Allan Green should be in it, if for nothing more than his prediction right after the Deleon fight.

Cannot wait to see all 6 men together. **** is gonna get hot!

This is Kessler's opportunity to regain the mantle of being the best 168 after his inactivity has shaded him, with Froch, Bute etc.. all taking the limelight.

It's a shame Bute and Balszay are not included, considering the tournament is supposed to pit the best against the best, the outcome will somewhat still not be definitive. Who cares though, this is the best thing to happen for boxing in years. I hope other divisions follow suit.

Whatever fight you make with these 6 men, all of them make for tantalising match-ups.

I will be at Froch/Dirrell for sure.

I think Kessler or Ward will win, I think though that if Kessler or any of the 2 other euros wins they will get no credit, no respect, no fame as usual for the euros but if someone that say Ward would win he would become very famous in the us and get tons of respect. so honestly this is kinda like a no-win situation for kessler, abraham, froch, if they win they will get nothing and if they lose they will be extremeley ridiculed and hated on by the yanks.
