  • Harry Simon Set For Return, Training in London

Namibia’s Harry Simon, one of only two men to win a world title for his home country (the other is WBA lightweight boss Paulus Moses), is set to resume his boxing career. The former two-time WBO world title holder, at light-middle and middleweight, has been training in London’s Pea**** gym, he hopes to sign a deal with Sports Network, and kick-start his career. He's a bit old.

He was brilliant in his prime. Maybe he could be another Hopkins.

Britain is a good place for him, there are a lot of good-level British Middleweights.

I remember Hopkins was supposed to fight him as part of the ill-fated Calzaghe deal in 2002. Dont see the point in him coming back now.

Same as you guys, I remember him from when he fought in the UK a couple of times. The Kevin Lueshing fight is one that sticks in my mind, Lueshing did well and landed some good shots early on, but got stopped a couple of rounds later, very similar to when he fought Tito.

One of the most underrated boxers of the past decade IMO.
