People criticise UFC cause Boxing intelligentsia told them to do it. Boxing's establishment hate every other combat sport because they think only boxing is actual fighting and because it's a concurrent. Larry Merchant even said that Yoel Judah, who was in the past was a kickboxing world champ, was not a FIGHTER, contrary to Floyd Sr and Roger Mayweather.

People who think MMA is for bums with no athletic skills should try it. I come from a kickboxing background and when i entered in my Jiujitsu gym for the first time, i got armbarred and choked more than 5 times. MMA is a hard sport, the third hardest after Boxing and Bicycle racing.
You can't really appreciate the sport if you never done it.

Whatever, Boxing is much better as a sport than MMA, it requires more skills and will cause it's one aspect at its best.
The productions are cheesy and the commentators suck ball big time. Joe Rogan knows the ground part but don't understand **** about boxing. Mike Goldberg is a clown who read the Wikipedia biography of the fighters during the fights.
UFC is still building itself and doesn't have the credibility of boxing, Lesnar is a world Champ being 3-1.

Good point. I've heard people from Jim Lampley to Bernard Hopkins degrade MMA.

I think it's great! I'm a much bigger admirer of the stand up game, so I'd say the only difference being, is I tend to be more picky with the fights I choose to watch of UFC.. Think some of the characters are great though, Dana White comes over as a bit slimey, but he kinda keeps it real.. Troy Waugh (UFC ref) is a pal of mine, & always keeps me well informed..

uh, maybe that had something to do with the constant attack on boxing by the UFC, dana white, et al and the media. Then a lot of people in boxing began to talk **** back. Not saying it's right, but boxing took a lot of heat and the UFC drones bashed boxing at every possible chance they got.

Dont act like you dont know why.

Its because DANA WHITE and FERTITTA brothers wants to destroy boxing.

Stop it nobody will destroy boxing. If someone acts though in the streets people ain't gonna say
" Who the **** you think you are? Chuck Liddell" but rather " Who the **** you think you are? Mike Tyson?"

Boxing is just too big and drains more passion than any other combat sports. It's universal like soccer.
In africa nobody knows what MMA is, in Latin America nobody cares about it. Boxing is known everywhere and super popular in Europe, Latin America, Africa, Asia and it stills sell in America.

Boxing guys bashing MMA guys is worse than the other way around, cause everybody knows how great as atheltes boxers are. With MMA it's not the same, nobody in MMA will say boxers are bums who couldn't make it in the UFC; if someone does it people will laugh at him.
