MaFu is burning... JuanMa vs. Caballero

JuanMa is going to fight in October, and BoB Arum is all about the money and the exposure. Caballero last 5 fights had been outside the US. He has gotten "ZERO EXPOSURE". We know who he is, but the casual fan that pays the good money to watch JuanMa will be more interested in watching JuanMa vs. Gamboa, Molitor, and probably the mexican Escalante. Don't forget that Jeffrey Mathebula got robbed against Caballero, even recognized by the Panamanian commentators during the fight.

I would love to watch JuanMa KOing Caballero more than any other fight. I would like to see Celestino kissing his over-rated-"p4p"-ass in the canvas. But, if a fight against a Gamboa, Molitor or an Escalante brings more money to the table, I may understand the move by JuanMa's team. But at some point in the future, if Caballero still is considered a threat to be recon with, JuanMa should KO this fool. Then again, Caballero may get his sorry-over-rated-ass exposed before fighting JuanMa.

Come on, repeat after me... "Ma-the-bu-la", Yes! That skinny ass African was robbed after clearly and convincingly beating Caballero in Panama. I got no respect for Caballero. Only hardcore fans know him and... When was the last time Caballero was the main event on a card in the US??? Please answer me.

while i do agree with you that im fully confident that juanma beats caballero.. and that caballero is not a mainstream fighter as juanma..

the only one looking good with all this situation is caballero. Juanma is looking like a ***** thanks to bob arum... he knows what hes doing... but he also knows the repercusion on his decision of not putting juanma agaisnt caballero for a unification....

What has surprised me in all this issue is how JuanMa is acting like Cotto and not being his own. Sooner or later BoB will not control what JuanMa may have to say about Caballero other than "Celestino doesn't bring money to the table, he is too unknown."

caballero is an unneeded risk for a prospect.

lopez just got his belt last year.

the plan is get him a few "look good" fights to get the buzz going.

once the buzz gets going (which jml is now getting) then you can make big fights with big names that can make jml a big name as well.

caballero does nothing for jml right now. why cause he has a belt? lopez has one too.


arum knows a lot more than any of you guys.

that's how his fighters become big names and get involved in big fights.
