This has been done to death...Manny Pacquiao wants Cotto's belt and he wants to have earned the legacy of a FW moving up several divisions to have won a title against bigger men in the WW division....Like Armstrong...but the catchweight is basically nullifying his legacy...

The whole point this fight is intriguing to Pacquiao is because Cotto is bigger and he's testing himself physically and mentally....but he's cheating himself when he asks to fight the bigger man at less then 100%...If he wins some will say it was because he fought a zombie...if he loses he will look like he never had any business trying to fight a WW if he couldn't even win at a catchweight....Thus tarnishing his legacy.

I mean what looks worse for Pacquiao...

Getting beat at 147 by a world class boxer and champion or making that boxer/champion move down to an uncomfortable weight and still losing?

          It's pretty obvious.

At 145 I think Cotto will be mean as hell. Below that he will hurt himself.

Even though he was not as durable at 140, he was faster and seemed more vicious to me. 145 would be a nice balance I think.

Below that would be a bad move at this point.

                      Pacquiao is a certified *****!!!

c'mon paquiao is bitching about the catchweight again he's even lucky he gets catchweights why does he challenge the best? but expect the CHAMPIONS!!! to meet him at a catchweight and if that wasnt enough at a weight were they're all weak and drained stay in your division or man up and fight like real MEN did (robeto duran, tommy hearns, j.c. chavez etc.) any one could beat up dehydrated weak opponents PAC NUT HUGGERS CHOKE ON THIS AND LEARN A THING OR TWO ABOUT BOXING the GREATDURAN NEVER!! ran from no one and even less put obsticles in front of them he fought the best they're own WEIGHT!!! i know hard to belive huh???? i undestand that this is the first and mostlikely last filipino icon you people will have and in a way thats why you defend withought knowing going up in weight and winning dont mean shyt if your opponents are beaten before they even made it in to the ring !!!!!! cotto strikes fear into pacqioa (at full weight) just like marquez or any legit WW again at full weight
