ward is the better boxer and could very well outbox him to a decision. but he could also get caught and knocked the hell out. tough call but ill always pick the better boxer over the better puncher. ward by UD, possibly after picking himself up of the canvas.

I reckon Froch by UD. Ward has skills, but I have been seriously underwhelmed by him. I would give Dirrell a better chance, but I would still go with Froch.

        ward by wipe out

too skilled and too quick, froch is the most overrated bum to come along this year

the man barely won his last two fights against top opposition

Froch has skills of his own, he isn't one dimsensional and easy to out box IMO. Hes an unorthodox counter puncher who has boxing skill( see him against Pascal, especially late where he won the rest of the fight by out boxing Pascal). Miranda on certain occasions, was able to get clean hits on Ward. If Froch can pressure Ward and effectively cut off the ring, i can see him having a good chance at winning.

The Taylor fight was getting close as the fight reached the latter stages, and he beat Pascal by unanimous decision. Keep in mind that Pascal is a current light heavyweight champion and Taylor is a former undisputed middleweight champion and top 5 pound for pounder.

taylor stops boxing after 6 rounds though-if he had taken a knee he would have beat froch

He stopped fighting because of the pressure that Froch was putting on him. Hes not consistent enough to stick to a game plan like that throughout.

You have to give Froch credit for the wins. Pascal has turned out better than a lot of people were saying, and Jermain Taylor is a tremendous fighter. I didnt particularly think much of Froch but he has earned my respect after the war with Pascal, and then going over to America in his very first defence and showing the determination to pull out a win against the odds in the last round. As boxing fans surely we have respect for someone that goes into the last round needing a KO and goes out there and gets it! How often does that happen?
