Bhop probably wins if he uses tactics in there fight and actually throws a bit more, if he doesn't act like that (which he didn't do so much in his prime) he losses really. They would trade and Joe would land 4 or so pitty patters while B-hop lands 1 back and it would bring Joe a SD/UD.

Bhop knocking down Joe is irrelevant really Joe has been down quite a bit in the latter part of his career and got caught cold and wasn't even hurt. Only time i remeber him hurt was vs Roy jones but that wasn't really a punch, he then later went on too take Flush shots with his guard down ala nate C but without failing at it.

And just because Hopkins hits harder doesn't mean he will win this fight either really. Lol @ Calzaghe in his prime too, what with his brittle ass hands and at 33-34 years old or whatever he was?

dont make calzaghe sound like a puncher, he aint, somtime i wonder if he even knows how to punch, and hopkins defence is one of the best, and he has a great chin, calzaghe would not hurt bhop, he couldent hurt a 43 year old bhop, know way he hurts a prie

again, calzaghe was not in his prime and his chin has softened up over the years, in his prime his chin was one of his best attributes.
Past prime Eubank had Calzaghe on ***** street from wat I remember...

he wouldn't ko hopkins or probably even hurt him but his punches would get his respect, enough for hopkins not to trade with him.

How he came off the biggest win of his career over Kessler. Calzaghes prime was in his 30s just liek Hopkins. He was NOT past prime when they fought at all.

what? you mean in the 12th round where he was stung by a right hand? he recovered within 5 seconds. he was gassed out badly in that fight too.

                      Its a close call.

Calzaghe bring a lot to the fight regardless of how certain fans feel about him.

                      Both are fast.
                      Both have great stamina.
Both are tough and strong willed.
Calzaghe might have a higher punch output but hopkins straighter punches and his own good punch output will make the difference in my opinion.

My pick hopkins by decision in close fight.
