Depends if Floyd plays the Joke Cortez Card.

I fully co-sign this sentiment. Floyd is going to be in for one Hell of a shock (as are a lot of Boxingscene posters) if they expect Marquez is going in there to play his part and act as a tune-up!

Marquez lays down for no man, 147lbs or not, this one will go right down to the wire. I think Floyd will walk away with a narrow decision however, after adapting and snatching the later rounds one way or another

i here what ur sayin but if floyd wants a big money fight with pac or the winner of pac/cotto then he needs to put on a good fight. a narrow decision will not cut it. especially since jmm is movin up almost 2 weight classes. i hope all the attention pac is gettin will motivate floyd and he goes for the stoppage.

The thing is, it won't be down to Floyd. Marquez will push him no matter how he performs. It's unrealistic to expect a stoppage from Mayweather in this fight

If it does happen I'll be very impressed personally

This is not Floyd 'Money' Mayweather vs [opponent], it's Floyd 'Money' Mayweather vs Mexican great 'Dinamita' Juan Manuel Marquez

okay, Marquez is coming up in weight, but in this particular scenario I don't think that's the be all and end all

i understand what ur sayin. its just that i would like floyd to make his return in dramatic fashion. there has been so much talk about him in the last year and a half plus with everything pac has done. JMM is no push over. he's comin to fight. it will be an intresting fight
