Man, IDC what you think about Floyd but Bob saying he's going to fight Calderon next is classic, that's some funny ****.

I think what Bob was saying had some truth, its not necessarily bigger guys but he doesn't fight ELITE talent or guys that he sees as dangerous. He did the same thing Paq is now, picking the biggest names with the least amount of danger. There is nothing wrong with it, it is good for the sport in terms of money and media coverage. The problem I have is Mayweather calling himself the best and yet he hasn't fought the best. He hasn't even fought the Top 5 WW in the world according to ring magazine (Cotto, Mosley, Clottey Margarito and Berto.) How can you even be the best in the WW division if you haven't even fought the best in the division?

I consider Paq the best P4P because he has fought the best in his division(s.) He may have passed up a fighter along the way like Baby Bull Diaz, but that's one fight for a shot at DLH, who at least at the time was looked upon as better and was worth money money than Diaz. Then he fights Hatton a huge name, and while not a bum he's not exactly a threat to any of the ELITE fighters in boxing. If you're wondering why I think its ok for Paq and not Mayweather the answer is obvious. Paq fought THE names in his division, PROVED he was the best and then banked on it. He now is facing someone Mayweather refused to face. Mayweather on the other hand retires, only to return and make a guy jump two weight classes in order for the challenger to have the HONOR to face Mayweather.
