If Hatton gets beaten by Khan its retirement
Its retirement anyway for me but a Khan defeat would be a nail in the coffin..

Khan can beat Hatton with Roach in the corner.

Right Hook, Roll under... same move everytime.

Don't think anyone is 100% that he IS coming back, & there's no gaurantee it'll be against Khan.. However, I know UK boxing, & as suggested by the thread poster, it's a virtual certainty.. And yes, he will lose.. It'll be the same as Stracey, Minter & McGuigan who were all beaten by the new kid on the block after losing their titles.. History DOES repeat itself, & I don't see anything changing here.. I lost a lot of respect for Hatton when he gave Billy Graham the finger.. This was very shortly after writing an autobiography, swearing undying illegence to him throughout .. This was written AFTER the Mayweather fight..
Then! at the drop of a hat, he suddenly decides to **** off to America & siddle up with 'the enemy' who laughed all the way to the bank, while calling him a ****, after he got KTFO..
Now! That's what I call entertainment, cos whoever trains him this time will definitely get the blame.... Forget retirement though, he aint shrewd enough for that.....

I doubt he will come back, unless it is against some hack that they know 100% he can beat without getting his chin checked again. Hopefully he retires though. He gave us some good years and had a lot of passion.

Seriously though, if he really does fight Khan at some point in the future, Khan will beat him pretty easy me thinks. He (Khan) would take it easy for the first half and outbox him then come on in the second after Hatton gasses and could possible take him out. Man, I wouldn't be surprised if Khan takes him out early in fact. Khan is very quick and has good power and Hatton's resistance really is shot to pieces and Kahn definitely has what it takes it to put him out.

I'm not sure they would want to put Khan in with him. I mean, if it's his farewell fight in Manchester they want someone that cannot beat him, like Malignaggi. Even a tune-up fighter like Lazcano nearly put his lights out, and he hadn't seen good years in a long time. Anyone with a bit of skill, speed, power with a good left hook can put him out easily.

Not sure... I love Hatton but his movement never been that good after the mayweather fight. i think he lost his mojo and that's hard to get back. he needs a convincing win vs a very good prime opponent to get it back. i think his body can't take him there no more. a long career filled with c class opponents will ruin even the greatest of all talents not saying hatton is that person obviously but he had potential and had he learned his lessons at a young age instead of being guarding his 0, he would have less money but better ability and eventually still be doing it at the highest level. Look at Pacquiao, also 30 and fighting like a teenager with all the energy and movement in the world. And Pac was the one who lost his first fights... but he learned lessons that no trainer, no regime or supplement could teach hatton.

i think this fight will be 50-50 its either khan schools rick for full 12rds or rick catches him with a left hook then knock him out and just in case ricky loses this fight he will retire in disgrace

as much as I think Hatton is one of the most over-hyped fighters of ALL-TIME.......I do think he'll beat Khan.......thus makin' Khan the NEW holder of my most over-hyped fighter of ALL-TIME title.......Ricky beats Amir IMO

I think Hatton should just retire and enjoy his good health and wealth. There is nothing else to prove, he may just never be #1 P4P or an ATG. What reason would there be, fame? He`s already experienced everything, short of charitable works.

                      I'm up for that.

And Hatton takes Khan out in 2 IMO.
