Wow, I couldn't believe that a judge had that fight a draw, especially considering the knockdown. That is possibly the most outrageous score for a fight that I've ever seen. Big props to the European fans for booing the score even though it was in favour of the hometown guy.
113-113?

Yeah, right on. It was outrageous. I hope people realize why so many times European fighters get discredited for long careers in Europe. Because it's relatively safe for them, they know that in order to be beat they really have to not just lose the fight, but lose it in a way it's plain to see. Lets say Bernard Hopkins was an European fighter, Joe Calzaghe would NEVER get the nod against him. He would probably still get the nod vs Jones though. Many examples could follow. But the thing is, while boxing is not properly investigated and cleaned from the inside out, it will never change. It's tragic specially when you compare it to other fight sports (sometimes the same judges but not the money players around so much yet) which have much harder fights to score (various criteria, etc) and still do much better. I say boxing give a bad name for itself and for Germany in particular.Wow, I couldn't believe that a judge had that fight a draw, especially considering the knockdown. yeah its really strange when one boxing judge seems to score the fight in a completely different way (i.e. clottey vs cotto, berto vs collazo) to the other judges and the fans.
im sorry allucard but i think b-hop would have lost to zaghe wherever he had been fighting, i know a bernard fan who scored the fight for calzaghe.
on the plsu side hopefully the fair decision will mean that some of the US fighters will realize that fighting in UK and europe is now a viable optionComment

I doubt it, thats a hell of a "fair decision" when an easy UD turns into a MD. I mean props to the judges who got it right, but for a fighter like Chambers who isnt going to score a lot of KOs its a big risk.Comment

The judge was Paul Thomas from England.Wow, I couldn't believe that a judge had that fight a draw, especially considering the knockdown. He was the one who scored Calzaghe-Reid for Reid, although Calzaghe clearly won.
He was also the one who scored Kotelnik-M'Baye for M'Baye, even though it was obvious to everyone that Kotelnik won the fight.Comment
