I Think Pac Is Going To Wait Floyd Out!

I was going to make this thread a week ago so here it is. I think Pac had his mind set on the Floyd fight. I think both he & Roach did and when Floyd had the setback, it through everything for Pac off. I think Pac genuinely feel's like he is near the end of his career and wants the Floyd fight now. Even though moving up in weight and fighting these good guys are big challanges, I think Pac is honestly starting to get bored of boxing. I really dont think he's truly hyped up about fighting Cotto as much as he would be by fighting Floyd or even JMM. I think he wants to fight Floyd and then retire or atleast not have another big fight before he gets to Floyd. He wants that big money pay day and he isnt falling for the hype of the fans on here, the media, or Arum in that this fight will be huge no matter what. Thats why I think he genuinley wants 65 or 70%. If he's not going to get atleast 65 then why risk fighting Cotto when he can just wait for Floyd which is more money anyways.

I bet Roach is telling him that Cotto is very beatable but he's still a good fighter who is very big and he's seen alot of fools take dumb risk and lose minor fights before the major fight. Why risk that and lose out on the big money, big fame fight against Floyd. I bet the Pac camp is saying that we can fight Cotto at any time so why rush? If they lose to Cotto then they pissed away the Super fight against Floyd which could break money records and be the biggest fight in the last 10 or 20 years. If they lose to Floyd then atleast its worth it. Also, if they beat Floyd 1st then they could fight Cotto and make twice as much for it as he would make now and could probably get 67-75% against Cotto because he would be a mega star at that time. It would also be an easier fight then it is now because he would have already have fought Floyd at 145 so he will be more use to the weight. There is a reason why Pac hasnt signed yet and Im telling you that they are seriously thinking about waiting Floyd out. Why not? Its not like Pac is 24. He doesnt want to fight much more anyways so having some time off isnt a big deal to him. He's doing a ton of different things right now.

I think the only thing that is hurting them is the time difference. They really want to wait for Floyd but they want to stay sharp. They probably want to fight an easy fight right now but people might rip on them if they did that after talking so much about Mosley & Cotto. Im telling you that I bet he either totally waits Floyd out or he fights someone like Forbes in Manilla. Someone who can mimmick Floyd, they can fight at 145 so they will be use to the weight, it will be a big hometown fight, and they will stay sharp. The only problem is that they may not do numbers which will hurt them when negotiating with Floyd. I bet they are thinking about all those things way more then they are about Cotto right now. Cotto is only hanging on by a thread. There mindset is how to wait Floyd out. Should they do it by just waiting, by fighting a bum, by fighting on PPV or regular TV, and so on. Thats it. Unless Cotto gives up 65-70 then I bet that there is no way this fight comes off and even then its still up for debate. Bet

You could be right, because if he does lose to Cotto, he probably won't get a fight with Money. But, I think the Cotto fight is very winnable and he shouldn't wait Floyd out, but I also really want to see Pacquiao-Mayweather, offensive demon vs. defensive genius, that would be great...regardless of in which order he fights them in, I think he will fight both of them.

      I been thought about this....

Floyd will be Pacs biggest payday....not Cotto a bull who could disposeof him in 3 rounds or less and wil be a 160 pounder fight night.

Pac/Cotto will probly not get signed..Pac will price themselves out and fight Valero.

I bet Floyd is praying Pac wins so he can fight him so he can duck back into retirement with 1 decent and 1 mega fight without facing any real big challenges.

You're saying Pacquiao is an easy fight for Mayweather?
