Pull made a thread about this ****. If he wins again, it shows he never needed to do dirt to beat Cotto. Don't prove he didn't last time, but it ain't been proven that he did. **** is old. Just hope they fight again. Til then Marg may as well just keep quiet. Beyond a Cotto rematch to dead the whinin, I don't care about anything else he does at this point.Comment

It's nice you can be flippant about it. Most of us can't, seeing as Miguel has had years taken off his career and will basically never be the same fighter again, because Margs was desperate enough to load his gloves.
I was never fan of Tony the boxer but liked him as a man, the way he hoisted himself up through all the difficult circumstances. The part on the Countdown show before the Cotto fight where he talked about his brother dying before a fight moved me, and that is why I got over him beating Cotto because a part of me thought he deserved being the champ and enjoying the success.
But what he did was truly di****able and honestly, I think he deserves all the **** he gets. Every time I have seen Cotto fight since it saddens me because he has obviously lost a step. And all because of Margs' desperation. What's ****ed up is that Tony might have beaten him without the loaded gloves anyway. But now, all we can do is wonder. In fact, is there even any point in evaluating the Cotto vs Maragarito fight anymore, aside from it being evidence to support the plaster theories? Can we watch it and say....yeah, Tony was the better man? Can you even watch it as a boxing fan and enjoy the spectacle, like we all did before the plaster business came to light? You might as well strike it off as a boxing fight. Which is a true shame, as the fight was classic, one for the ages. Now, it's nothing more than a disturbing curiosity.
And it's not just that fight, and Cotto's subsequent career that Tony tainted. It was his own too. All the speculation and conjecture means that formulating a standing for him based on his resume and achievements....might be futile. He won't even admit to using the plaster, so we don't even know when he started.
I still can't believe he did it. Tony's whole persona was about the warrior spirit, defiance, heart, determination. And then he goes and loads his gloves up.
Honestly, you Marg fans should stop being flippant about what he did, or take the piss out of Cotto getting beat up in that fight.
It makes you all look like ****ing ******s.Comment

Margarito is pure evil, although a great lad. I like that.
Never cheated, simply pounded Quitto and that was it for Kneegel.
He will do that every single time. Lets also see a rematch against Roidsley where he is actually allowed to load his gloves, so that it's fair against the drugged up cheater Roidsley(This is how he beat Tony anyway).Comment

Riz remember when Cintron picked margarito to picked cotto? The cotto groupies were breaking their keyboards over it in anger! Calling him a traitor and a fake puerto rican. All margarito did was the same that kermit did and just give an honest opinion about the weight probably affecting cotto and they go nuts over it
like it's some absurd comment that holds no truth. Then once kermit beat angulo all the ricans were all on kermit's nuts
these guys are clowns.
