The only thing that Linares has done so far was fighting without big mistakes and with a very polished style.

He is a textbook fighter, he does everything just right.

If he can go and win against a badass guy like Soto i will really respect him.

I love to see he fighting 'cause he fight without disapointing his fans. His jab is very good and he uses it a lot. He goes to the body when it's closed upside and have a good accuracy. Accuracy is something that kills oponents in final rounds.

He really need to move on and fight somebody like Soto. Lets see what he is made of.

Linares has the power, skills, and record that excites people... nothing wrong with that.

That's understandable. But I just think fighters get too hyped up because of a glossy record a lot of times. Look at Victor Ortiz. He had a DQ loss, but he got exposed big time when he fought someone with heart and boxing skills. Soto possesses those two things. And Linares has never fought anyone with them combined. Larios was done.
