Chambers is exactly like Wladimir or even Dimitrenko. These guys fight boring, PERIOD. I did not enjoy that fight a little bit and i had to fast forward to the 12th round. What the hell. The heavyweights really need someone who can make an exciting mark. David Haye could be the antidote here, lets hope he's not all talk because honestly it's hard to watch the division now.

No, perhaps a few jabs, a few grabs... Honestly they do have more punches but the rhythm ******, they had no power, they were landing mostly on gloves. I honestly think these two and the K brother can effectively kill HW boxing if we let them. There are more but talent-wise i can't recall a worst time for HW boxing really.Comment

Update: Someone told me Chambers knocked him down twice. I missed that because i fast forward to the 12th but hell it's still a boring fight but now i understand how Chambers got the nod in Germany....Comment

Maybe you were watching another fight to the one i watch last night, it was a great fight by those two, Dimitrenko showed a lot of heart for a fighter that hasnt fought at that level before and Chambers was very impressive with the way he went about his business....Not saying either are better than Wlad or Vitali but they provide us with more than a jab/clinch yesterday.Comment

I believe that's the problem. Not only an eventual fight would not be exciting on itself with the jab and grab tatics they would both try to apply (no foot movement for chambers too) but we also have an announced winner because lets be honest, chambers will not land anything on Wladimir from his distance. He will do a Ibragimov if he's lucky or a Chagaev if he's not. The only people who can give us a fight vs Wladimir are people who are not afraid to leap in, using quick lateral movement, that's how everyone who beat him beat him with, force him to trade punches and not stand there being jabbed to death. Reach is a major factor if both can't move very well and as this seems to be the case the fight is very predictable, kudos for Wlad but will make for another boring fight, like this one was apart from the knockdowns.
But no they will exactly do survival work till they collapse vs Wlad. Expect nothing different as neither of those two have the tools to beat him as i said above.Comment
