I find it funny how everyone was quick to jump off the Williams bad wagon when he got his a$$ handed to him by Quintana. Then now everyone jumping back on the bandwagon. Dude is not unbeatable and has poor footwork...Quintana proved that **** to the fullest. I think Williams is a bada$$ dude but there are still questions about him in my opinion. Like how about having a rubber match with Quintana...Maybe Williams got "lucky" just like Quintana got "lucky" but the difference is Williams got "lucky" for one round where Quintana got "lucky" for 12 rds...hmmm makes me wonder.

2nd: Out of all the Welterweights I think we can all agree that the least "ducking" has been by Cotto, who pretty much has fought all the top welterweights win, lose, or draw. Nobody else in that divsion has fought all the guys Cotto fought. Right now Cotto is trying to land a mega fight with Pacquiao, which would be beneficial financially and for Legacy sake as well. Right now Manny is #1 P4P not Williams. So spare me with all the ducking bs cause the man is fighting up not down. If Cotto was to fight someone like Koji Numata instead of Paul Williams then sure I see where your aguement might have validity but for now it holds no water.

Now he's fighting Pac and will probably make more money that Paul has made in his entire career.

When was the last time that Paul made 147? I think he can't even make it anymore.
Neither one of those fights determined who the best fighter in the division is though. This is where the Cotto fans contradict themselves. They blame Mayweather for holding the division hostage when Cotto did too, but in a less blatant way. A Cotto-Williams fight would've crowned a Ring champ after Williams beat Margarito. And we know Cotto didn't fight him. The thread starter is on an ego trip with this subject. I realize Arum is partly to blame for this fight never happening.

The 8" height difference doesn't bother anybody? Cotto looked small against Margarito he would look like a little boy against Williams.

Really? Maybe for Bob Arum. But he doesn't bring any more to the table than Paul Williams did. Williams had a title belt at the time and Clottey didn't.
