Don't be ****s. Did you forget the other 2 GERMAN JUDGES(Like Tunney said, the judge in question was a Brit) basicely scored every round for Chambers? Germany has become a vital part of Boxing and it's going to stay that way. The times of Ott**** are gone.Comment

they obviously paid off the judges like they do in every fight but this time 2 of the judges didn't go forward with the cheating cause it would have been too obvious and impossible to justify. the third judge will be used a lot more in german fights seeing as he stuck to the plan.Comment

germany a big part of boxing? ummmm ok. and where the ref is from has no importance as the fight was still in GERMANY and GERMANY is the keyword.Comment

I'll enjoy Abraham vs. Taylor live in Germany...
Biggest problem here is that the press don't discuss and critize decisions that much...but I am trying to educate them...

I agree. Germany is a bad bad place for boxing. I guess they never forgot how their supposedly superior champions would be man handled when they went overseas so they decided to protect the sport in Germany. They semi-isolate themselves from the rest of the boxing world and were the first to really show that in boxing, you don't need to be that good to be "good" (Ottke, Bayer). It's a shame what happens over there. No one should be robbed. I think these judges faces and names need air time really. Maybe a little segment about where they live before the fights. That would all of a sudden open their eyes wider

God forbid a german official being crooked! Of course they will hire someone from Panama or Colombia to do the dirty work. Everytime i see boxing from Germany i see a bunch of really old men accompanied by young, beautiful women in the front seats, in the audience. And they seem to be the same people everytime. I don't need to tell you how that smells like...

BTW the 113-113 judge was Paul Thomas, from Britain. He has been a professional boxing referee and judge for over 30 years and officiated on more than 130 world title fights as well as numerous British, European and Commonwealth title bout. Paul is a member of the World Boxing Association and World Boxing Organization. He was clearly not jugding what he saw. Even I, who fast forwarded to the 12th had Chambers slightly ahead (not that i think Chambers is something special) but he was. But i'm glad Chambers won, against the corruption.
BTW the judges who gave chambers the victory were from the USA and Spain, NONE were German!!Last edited by Allucard; 07-05-2009, 06:58 AM.Comment
