  • LOL at this thread. So let me get this straight, a reporter asks Nate a question about a comment John David Jackson made, and because Nate agrees with JD now suddenly he is playing the "race" card? Give me a break. Should he have not answered the question?

Slide back and listen to the news. Nate knows full well that a fight with him and Pac will NEVER HAPPEN. The fierce "I'll fight anybody" badass that Pac was a few years ago sadly is no more. He is now a businessman first, and a fighter second. That's what happens when a guy starts making north of $5 million a fight. From that point forward, it's only about revenue. It's happened again and again. Roy, Tito, Oscar, Floyd, Pac, Shane, and you can soon add JMM to the list.

People like to trash Wlad, but he is the only "big money" guy out there that will actually do his mandatories, defend his titles, and fight all-comers. And he gets ridiculed for that. Maybe if he sat around, refused to fight most guys because they "dont bring enough to the table", and did his purse negotiations through the media, then perhaps he would get some respect around here.......lol

        • he's fought one time at 140.

you expect him to fight 5 guys in 1 fight?

if he fights another fight at 140 , aside from maybe a jmm rematch , it should be bradley.

guzman , campbell , witter need not apply.

hatton was the champ at 140 and bradley was the best at 140.

if he fights at 140 again it should be bradley.

that said , no one has a right to complain about pac not fighting any of those guys you mentioned if pac is out there fighting cotto , mayweather and mosley.
so you thinmk guzman, campbell and witter need not apply but insist that floyd has to face all the top welters to get credit at 147 why the double standard

Nate CampbellThe thing with the Manny Pacquiao thing is that he’s allowed to fight in these insane catch weights and no one else I allowed to fight at these catch weights. How can you take away the weight class, the weight limit, and then say it’s for the title. I mean, I’m just asking the question. I’m posing the question.

"Tell me one African-American fighter he (Pacquiao) fought" ? Answer: Murad Muhammad, next question

ANSWER: PAC has never fought at a catch weight!

However, these bigger guys keep calling him out, lol. How about Shane facing P-Will, Shane's too much of a p*ssy to even mention P-Will's name!

Bro you got that twisted all up and down...I spoke to Nate about this fight and he was calling Marquez out so many times and Golden Boy didn't want Nate to fight Marquez they wanted Diaz and Marquez because the belt stays in the Golden Boy stable...ya'll need to check your sources before talking smack about something you don't know.

At the bold part...This is what have been saying for years now when a fighter like Pacman get to the top they all become businessmen (No blame there), I have seen it with all the top fighters except for Cotto and Wlad like you have pointed out, The rest make all kind of excuses Mosley included..

                  • African American fighters can change the game in one fight......a year ago Margarito and Pavlik were HOT!!!!.......then they were put in against 2 old African American fighters who were supposed to be cherry pickin's........the fight game changed on those 2 nights.........Pavlik vs Calzaghe was no longer a topic.........and Margarito-Cotto II got postponed!!!.......and because history is a teacher or guidline for the future.......Top Rank might be a lil' spooked with Pac gettin it on with a Bradley, Mosley, or even Nate......personally I think Pac beats them ALL except for Mosley........I aslo think Floyd beats Pac but I cant see any of the other brothers troublin' Manny!!!

why do you quote people and take out their names?

that said. don't confuse me with all the other floyd haters. go talk to the other guys.

besides pacquiao is fighting guys who are bigger money and more of a threat than the guys in his own division.

oscar and ricky was bigger money and riskier than campbell , juan diaz , joel casamayor at 135.

shane mosley and miguel cotto are also bigger money and riskier than bradley , witter , holt , etc.

floyd fans shouldn't even bring up manny's name. manny is about to fight a guy floyd wouldn't.
