At the Parc des expositions in Poitiers, Vienne, France, WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo Moreno (26-1, 8KOs) of Panama won a split decision over hometown hero Mahyar Monshipour (31-4, 21KOs) to retain his title. I'd like to see Hasegawa-Vic (WBO/IBF)or Moreno-Vic (WBA/IBF) for sure.

Monshippur took a long time off and went down, so it's to his credit that he fought so well. The other guy in that fight in 2006 Somsak, is definitely shot at this point.
