If Abraham comes out fighting from the opening bell I think he wins. If Abraham takes half the fight to get warmed up and lays on the ropes Kessler starches him.
imo the trick to beating a fighter like AA/clottey/wright is lateral movement. cotto had success in the last few rounds against clottey because he would hit and move, williams annihilated winky with good lateral movement; williams threw a combo, winky looked up to try and get off and realized that PW had moved to the side and winky had to set himself all over again only to find williams setting up another combo.
AA is strong as anyone else at SMW, has a big a punch as anyone else at SMW and has a good body attack. imo when he does move up in weight he will only get better. i expect his activity and output to increase as he won't be as fatigued from having to cut weight.
kessler has shown weakness when attacked to the body (calzaghe) and AA might have some success there. imo he can take kess's best punches and he might need to if he wants to get inside.
but i find it hard to count kess out he is very smart, has great footwork can fight at a high pace and i think his jab will keep AA off him to secure a UD.
kessler, wouldnt be as hard as most people think either.
abraham is very strong but kessler is probably even stronger, has a better jab, granite chin close to abraham's power, more workrate and better footwork.
i see kessler peperring him with the jab all night.
