Jhonny Gonzalez Plans To Return on August 21

Former champion Jhonny Gonzalez plans to return to the ring on August 21 in Chihuahua, Mexico. Gonzalez appeared to be very down his luck in the aftermath of May's third round knockout to WBC super bantamweight champion Toshiaki Nishioka. There were some who thought Gonzalez would retire but he appears to be back in the hunt for another title shot. [details]

I would advice him to look for another career. Evidently, boxing is not his cup of tea.

this is what sucks in boxing...

the one who lost is the one who is receiving headlines...

the unknown one who beat him remains pretty much underrated...

You can say that again dude. I'm really with you on that. Nishioka deserves more recognition now.
