He still fights, but on an elite level, he is done. I have said that Stevie is one of the best pocket/inside boxers I have ever seen. The other would be Frankie Randall, both are in my top five all time fighters list.

I still to this day go to youtube and check out his fights. The wars he had with Mosley, Forrest, and others in the am championships.

Someone on this site even told me he fought Winky at one point. I still stick to the point that Stevie would have beat Floyd if Floyd would have just stepped to the plate. He didn't.....

That is so true. Every fighter he got in the ring with had almost every advantage over him, yet he always found a way.

Kellerman was in love with Stevie (lmao)!!! He used to crack me up on friday night fights.

Lederman also loved Stevie. Saying many times, he handn't seen better ring generalship in a fighter.

In his prime, Stevie was a bad boy!

Ya he really fell but people can't be to mad though he was like a shooting star bright and brief and for so few fights he left a legacy that people still talk about.

Maybe I’m going a little old school with this but Michael Nunn always came to mind as fighter that fell hard. The man was an encyclopedia of talent in the ring, it amazes me how so many forget what he’s brought to the sport.

                      Peace.
