    Khan Vs Prescott

Why has a rematch never been made or even discussed? surely Khan would like to avenge that lose after being KO'd like that...I would like to see it and im sure many others would.

Amir Khan wants it, his promoter Frank Warren doesn't.

    The end.

        It has been discussed.

The real question is, why would Khan want to fight Prescott so soon after being ko'd by him in the first round?

This fight is for the future. Maybe 3-4 fights away, if Khan continues to progress.

It's a pointless fight for Khan, and an equally pointless one for Prescott at present, except possibly that he could get a bigger payday than anywhere else. The result was hardly subject to dispute, and there was no title at stake; how often do those circumstances lead to a rematch?

Look at Khan's record since. First was an obviously needed confidence booster against ***an. Next was Barrera.. and it wasn't Khan's fault how that turned out. And next, Kotelnik for the WBA LWW title. Neither Khan nor Warren are fools; Prescott is no more dangerous than most others Khan is likely to meet now, but if they fight there needs to be a reason beyond some macho thing about avenging the defeat.
