Kerry Kaye responsible for Hatton balooning up

Hatton is not really fat as you guys think although he looks puffed up.He doesnt need to indulge that much to look like he is now this all because of Kerry Kaye's suppliments he gave to Hatton. They have serious side effects in terms of the water retention of the cells.Look at Kerry Kaye himself,he doesnt look like a former Mr Britain,he looks puffed up.

There are many suppliments Hatton was taking. While they improve stamina, they also increase cells water retention and they make people to have puffy faces. If you were to take Hatton onto a fitness test,he would pass A1,he still has the same intensity. If Hatton started training right now he would look good not because of fat burning but because of dehydration.

Anyone who has worked out will know what I'm talking about. This has nothing to do with drinking, many boxers drink even Taylor.Hatton is just vocal about it.I feel pity for Hatton because he is a victim of science

I see the angle but personally think that Ricky's diet is dreadful in between fights, lots of fast food and guiness. He himself says that everytime he passes a chippy he has to go in. Any dietician will tell you that when you lose alot of weight (ie in Ricky's case to make weight for a boxing match) your body adopts a starvation response that stores calories as fat as soon as normal eating resumes.

Some boxers train outside of their fight camps just to tick over, Barrera used to run ten miles a day everyday, Mayweather doesn't allow his weight to balloon either. Ricky is not one of these guys, hense the flab outside of training camp!

I personally have little time for creatine, protein and amino acid shakes, electrolyte drinks etc. I'm sure they have their benefits, enough pros use them. I'd like to think that were I a professional athlete a good balanced diet, hydration and hard sensible training would be enough.

agreed man - im no sports scientist but i can tell you that his gung ho, jack the lad attitude to food outside the ring has cost him dearly. bernard hopkins, david haye and money mayweather are fighters that show keeping your weight down, taking a professional attidtude and recognizing that you have to live an athletes life allows you to reap the rewards in the long term. just look at how long money may and hopkins have been boxing.

as for the creatines, protein shakes, supplments and all the rest of it, look no further than joe calzaghe. a simply ethos of train hard, diet hard and fight hard did wonders for him and he never missed the weight.

You can get all the necessary vitamins and minerals from a well balanced diet, supplements are supposed to be like insurance, they just compliment the diet and fill in anything that the person might be lacking.

Hatton's poor drinking and eating habits between fight's most likely does him more damage than whatever stuff Kerry Kaye's is giving him
