ask him who hopkins fought after he won his ibf belt.

ask him why hopkins fought robert allen and antwun echols like 12 times.

They were his mandatories, so Pac was Diaz mandatory? I think not.

wow. the ibf made allen and echols a mandatory 5-6 times? sure about that?

fact is arum wanted pacquiao to fight a top rank fighter.

they wanted pacquiao to move up to 135.

diaz was a top rank fighter and was wbc champ. arum wanted the fight for his own pockets. pac's previous 2 fights were with gbp fighters and he had to share the profits with gbp whenever pac fights a gbp fighter.

they planned a pac-diaz fight at 135 BEFORE pac even fought marquez yet.

this was before campbell even won the belts from juan diaz.

diaz was just a tuneup designed to get pac a belt at 135.

considering ring magazine ranked david #2 in the world behind #1 juan diaz and ring champ casamayor and considering diaz was the wbc champ......not a bad tuneup at all.

as far as not fighting casamayor or juan diaz or nate campbell......blame oscar delahoya , floyd mayweather and ricky hatton.

pacquiao might have fought some more at 135 if floyd didn't back out of the oscar fight and ricky hadn't wanted a tuneup before fighting oscar.

you can't expect pacquiao to turn down oscar delahoya and $15 million.

Cant take you serious anymore, I was basically having fun with this, you give Floyd no credit for fighting both Ring champs at 147 but try and big up David Diaz for crying out loud.

these posters are funny they claim pac has been fighting pushovers and make so much excuses. lets look, marquez wbc champ and p4p fighter, for the linear belt, he won. diaz first fight at lightweight vs the wbc champ. jumps 2 divisions to fight oscar who is a light middle, where evryone thought pac would get killed, now everyone is saying we knew it wasnt a risk because he was weight drained. you can only judge that through hindsite you dimwitts, how is that not a risk. hatton the linear champ at 14O for 4 years a p4p fighter and undefeated at that weight and only been defeaeted by the former p4p best in floyd. all of a sudden he is a bum.

excuses excuses excuses. when pac beats what are they going to say? cotto was ruined by margarito.

and let me just clear this up for you folks thinking pac cherrypicked diaz instead of fighting a legit lightweight.

pac was already scheduled to fight diaz before the marquez but chose to fight marquez first.

juan diaz had just lost to nate campbell so why would he fight the loser.

casa was scheduled to fight marquez on that september and so was guzman and campbell.

but then oscar came calling and how do you say no to that.

no cherrypicking just the way it played out.

Said I was just having fun with this, just about anybody's resume can be nitpicked into having uncredible and suspect opponents. How can you run through Pac's resume and give him credit but dont do the same with Floyd's?

Diaz may earned a lot of respect for lasting as long as he did against Pac's onslaught. He may be back in contention at LW. I suspect he has it in him to possibly capture another title belt, but he will never be an elite fighter.

                      ?

                      1. there's no such thing as 2 ring champs. he fought the former ring champ and the current ring champ.

                      2. i'm not bigging up david diaz. i just told you where he was ranked by ring magazine at the time the fight was planned.

                      3. don't confuse me with the other floyd haters. let them whine and ***** about zab and baldo. i'm a floyd hater but i don't say the same things they do.
